The word of YAHUAH (יהוה) that came unto Hôshêa (הוֹשֵׁעַ), the son of Beêrı̂y (בְּאֵרִי), in the days of Ûzzı̂yâhû (עֻזִּיָּהוּ), Yôthâm (יוֹתָם), Âchâz, and Yechizqı̂yâhû (יְחִזְקִיָּהוּ), kings of Yahûdâh, and in the days of Yârobâm the son of Yôâsh, king of Yâshârêl.
The beginning of the word of YAHUAH (יהוה) by Hôshêa. And YAHUAH (יהוה) said to Hôshêa, Go, take unto you a wife of whoredom and children of idolatry: for the land has committed great whoredom, departing from YAHUAH (יהוה).
So he went and took Gômer the daughter of Diblayim; which conceived, and bare him a son.
And YAHUAH (יהוה) said unto him, Call his name Yizreêl; for yet a little while, and I will avenge the blood of Yizreêl upon the house of Yêhû, and will cause to cease the kingdom of the house of Yâshârêl.
And it shall come to pass at that day, that I will break the bow of Yâshârêl, in the valley of Yizreêl.
And she conceived again, and bare a daughter. And He said unto him, Call her name Lô Rûchâmâh (לֹא רֻחָמָה): for I will no more have mercy upon the house of Yâshârêl; but I will utterly take them away.
But I will have mercy upon the house of Yahûdâh (יְהוּדָה), and will save them by YAHUAH (יהוה) their ĔLÔHÎYM (אֱלֹהִים), and will not save them by bow, nor by sword, nor by battle, by horses, nor by horsemen.
Now when she had weaned Lô Rûchâmâh, she conceived, and bare a son.
Then he said, Call his name Lô Ammı̂y (לֹא עַמִּי): for you are not my people, and I will not be yours.
Yet the number of the children of Yâshârêl shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, You are not my people, there it shall be said unto them, You are the sons of the living ÊL (אֵל).
Then shall the children of Yahûdâh and the children of Yâshârêl be gathered together, and appoint themselves one head, and they shall come up out of the land: for great shall be the day of Yizreêl.
