Paulos, and Silouanós, and Timótheos, unto the ekklisía of the Thessalonikéfs which is in Êlôhîym the father and in Âdônây Yahusha Mâshı̂yach: Grace be unto you, and peace, from Êlôhîym our father, and Âdônây Yahusha Mâshı̂yach.
We give thanks to Êlôhîym always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers;
Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and work hard of love, and patience of hope in our Âdônây Yahusha Mâshı̂yach, in the sight of Êlôhîym and our father;
Knowing, beloved brethren, your election of Êlôhîym.
For our gospel did not come unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the rûach Qôdesh, and in much assurance; as you know what kind of men we were among you for your sake.
And you became followers of us, and of Âdônây, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the rûach Qôdesh.
So that you were models to all that believe in Makedonía and Achaia.
For from you resounded the word of Âdônây not only in Makedonía and Achaia, but also in every place your faith exceeding is spread abroad; so that we do not need to speak anything.
For they themselves show of us what kind of entrance we had unto you, and how you turned to Êlôhîym from idols to serve the living and true Êlôhîym;
And to wait for his son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Yahusha, who delivered us from the wrath to come.
