Now there was a certain man of Râmâthayim Tsôphı̂ym (רָמָתַיִם צוֹפִים), of mount Ephrayim, and his name was Elqânâh (אֶלְקָנָה), the son of Yerôchâm (יְרֹחָם), the son of Êlı̂yhû (אֱלִיהוּ), the son of Tôchû (תֹּחוּ), the son of Tsûph (צוּף), an Ephrâthı̂y (אֶפְרָתִי):
